One of the most famous buildings from the Delhi Sultanate is the Qutub Minar. It is a very tall stone tower, rising high above the city so people could see it from far away. It was built to celebrate victory and was also used to call people to prayer. The tower is covered with beautiful carvings and writing, and it is made from strong stone so it has lasted for hundreds of years.
To protect their kingdom, the sultans built powerful forts. One important fort was Tughlaqabad Fort. It had thick stone walls, tall towers, and narrow gates that were hard for enemies to break through. The walls were slanted outward, making them even stronger. Soldiers stood on top to watch for enemies, especially the Mongols.
